Alma was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Clonia Dalton; her husband, George Grover Nixon, Sr.; four sister, and four brothers. Survining are three sons and their wives, George Grover and Opal Nixon, Henry W. and Doris Nixon; and Ray Kenneth and Phullis Nixon, a sister and brother-in-law, Beatrice and James Hall; grandchildren, Leah, Joe, Nicky, Keith Nixon; Sandra and Mike Ganoe: Lisa and Mal Lafoon; several great-grandchildren.

Alma retired from Imperial Reading after 27 years of service.
