Bruce, 77, of Grand Ledge, Mi died Monday in Lansing, MI. He retired from the State of Michigan after 38 years of service; graduated from Grand Ledge High School, Class of 1950; was a Past Master and member of the Masonic Lodge #412; member of the Lansing Motorcycle Club, and also a 4H Leader. Bruce enjoyed collecting tractors and most of all loved his grandchildren and spending time with family. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Beverly G. and their sons, David E. (Cindy) Dixon of Kinsley, MI and Jon A. (Linda) Dixon of Grant, MI; six grandchildren: Tom, Tim, Bruce, Scott, David Dixon, and Anna (Matt) Doyle, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Amanda (Schneeberger) Dixon; sister, Beatrice E. Slee; and brother, Kenneth Dixon. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 18, 2010 - 11:00 a.m. at the Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge, with Rev. Roy Atherton officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eaton Community Hospice in memory of Bruce Dixon.
