He was born January 29, 1952 in Albuquerque and moved to Edgewood in 1983.
Mark is survived by his sweetheart, Gail Richards; son, Rory Jensen and wife, Kim Jensen; daughter, Clare Jensen and their mother Jane Jensen; sisters, Mimi Montgomery, Janice Gauman and husband, Denny, Elena Coffman and husband, Gaylan; and sister Leslie Jensen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice K. and Alta Mae Jensen and grandparents, Joe and Mae Hill. Mark graduated from Highland High School in 1970 and UNM in 1974.
He became a building contractor in 1974 and began a career in real estate in 1985 working primarily in Albuquerque's East Mountain area. Mark was Owner/Broker of Associated Mountain Realtors in Cedar Crest.
He was a founder of the Edgewood Community Library and has been an ardent supporter since opening.
In addition to homebuilding, Mark loved to dance, ski, scuba dive and play racquetball.
He loved to travel the world and his many destinations are a tribute to a short life well lived.
