Born June 8, 1912 to Alfred and Katie Solomon. She married Joseph S. Francom in June 1935 in the Salt Lake Temple; he preceded her in death in October 1977. She married Kenneth G. Wiseman on April 14, 1983.
Alice graduated from the Lincoln Elementary School, 3900 South in Murray, Utah; also, from Granite High School in 1930. She was a member of the Granite High School Track Team.
Alice worked at ZCMI in Salt Lake City for ten years and was the manager of the Filing Department. She became the office manager and accountant for Francom Advertising Agency, where she worked for fifteen years.
Alice was a member of the Imperial Second Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was active in the Relief Society, Ward Choir and Primary. She served for many years as Ward Choir director and wrote and directed several outstanding ward road shows. She was an active member of the Allegro Chorus for fifteen years.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth G. Wiseman; children, Mrs. Sharon Cline, Canal Winchester, Ohio; Mrs. Ruth Urban, Sandy, Utah; and Mr. A. Sterling Francom, Sandy, Utah; sisters, Mrs. Winnifred Ferre, Mrs. Iris Hansen, and Mrs. Ruth Scanlon, all of Salt Lake City, fourteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 1990 at 10:00 a.m. in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive (1495 East), where friends may call on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
