Rev. Felix Eubanks of this city died Tuesday night after a lingering illness. He leaves a wife and a host of relatives and friends who deeply mourn his loss. We trust he shall receive his heavenly seat and starry crown; that he may mingle among the most exalted and blessed of the redeemed host before the throne of God. Rev.Felix Eubanks was a Union soldier in the stormy days of the rebellion and fought with daring valor on many a well contested and bloody battle field. He has held a pastorate of the Primitive Baptist Church here for many years . The last years of his life were, while not engaged in church work, occupied in rural pursuits. He was buried in the city cemetery.
