Original Obit;

Dorothy Rose Cheeseman, of Dayton, Sadly passed away Thursday, March, 15, 2001, at her home. She was 80. A lifelong resident of Rhea County, and of a prominent family, Mrs. Cheeseman worked for Provident Life for 35 years and was a member of Dayton First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Florence Jewell Schild. Survivors include her Son, John E. Byron of Burlington, Conn.; Daughter, Janice Mullally of Cartersville, Ga.; brother, Mike Schild of Dayton; Great grandchildren, Amber, Bethany and Kira Green and Tabitha and Shelley Blanton, all of Cartersville, Ga.; Grandchildren, Sandra Green and Sabrina Blanton, both of Cartersville Ga., and John Mullally of Port Huron, Mich. Funeral services were conducted Sunday in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Brown officiating. Burial followed in Buttram Cemetery in Dayton. Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home in Dayton was in charge of the arrangements.

She was a wonderful person who is Loved and very much missed.
