Gina spent the majority of her life in New York working for the Harlem Valley Hospital and in the restaurant and real estate fields. She also lived many years in Bakersfield where she worked for Herbert P. Sears and was an Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce in the early 1980's. More recently, she worked for Kern County M.A.O.F. as an instructional aide in the computer room.
Gina was known for her generous spirit and no one ever left her house hungry. She loved chocolate and enjoyed a half piece of cake (the top half with the frosting!) and chocolate frozen yogurt before she passed away. In her latter years, Gina accepted Jesus as her personal Savior. She was a woman of great strength and her family meant everything to her. She felt loved right to the end with her first grandson, David, by her side. It was his 40th birthday.
What she leaves behind can not be measured by material things, but by the legacy of people who love her.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Mom.
