She was born June 12, 1924 in Powell County, daughter of the late Joseph and Gracie Patrick Hardy and was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by six daughters, Margie (Charlie) Johnson, Paris, Bessie (Robert) Tubbs, Paris, Lucille (Harold) Golden, Paris, Louise (Larry) Morrison, Jeffersonville, Dolly (William) Tipton, Paris, Helen (Henry) Booth, Paris; four sons, Riley Joe (Darlene) Campbell, David Campbell, Samuel (Phyllis) Campbell, all of Paris, Charlie Campbell, Carlisle; six sisters, Lola Patrick, Clay City, Beulah Yates, Winchester, Glendora Walker, Clay City, Alice Crow, Clay City, Ruth Crowe, Winchester, Dolly Gourley, OH; two brothers, Clell (Thelma) Charles, Otis (Lois) Charles, both of Clay City; a special sister-in-law, Gracie Conner; special friends, Louise Crepeau, Bertha Harper, Mary Ann Smith, Ruby Trussell; 23 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. A brother, Sherrill Hardy, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Thurs., Sept. 8, 2005, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Hospice Chaplain Gary McQuian, with interment in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm Wed.
