b: Petersberg, NY d:Oneida Co., NY. Married Mahala Barnard about 1833.

He rode a horse to Madison County in 1818 to find work on the canal. Settled in Wampsville in 1845. In the 1850 Fed. Census he and his family are living in Lenox, Madison Co., NY.

By the 1880 Census he and his wife are living in Oneida Twp. Madison Co.. NY and by now has retired from farming. Census records states that parents' were born in VT
