Kyle Tyler Vandeveer, 13, of Charleston was tragically killed on Friday (June 4, 2010) in Bluford, Ill.
He was born on March 12, 1997 in Antioch, California, the son of Charles Raymond "Chuck" and Emilie Beth Shifley Vandeveer. They survive. He is also survived by his paternal grandfather, Robert Vandeveer of Charleston; maternal grandfather, Rev. Roy Shifley of Bluford and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by both of his grandmothers and a brother.
