Mrs Stella Mae Gabel Hinrich Bellamy, age 88 of Molino, passed away Thursday, at her home. She was born October 14, 1917 in Flomaton, Escambia County, AL and had resided in Northwest Florida most of her life. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Cantonment, as well as a long time member of the Church Choir, she loved to paint landscapes with oil, and was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Sons of the American Revolution. Stella was a descendent of many ancestors who fought and defended the south during the War of Northern Aggression. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Lee Gabel, mother Lizzie Mae Mason Gabel Tomberlin and step father, Baker Marvin Tomberlin, and the father of her children, Frederick Christopher Hinrichs.
She is survived by her husband, Oscar F. Bellamy, Three daughters Brenda(Robert)Ann Hinrich Millner Reid, Mary-Ida(Ed)Hinrich Wilburn, Alice(Joe)Freada Hinrich Smith Dillon, one step daughter, Alison Ruth Bellamy, Three step sons, Alvin F. Bellamy, Alan W. Bellamy, Anthony R. Bellamy, two sisters, Eleanor Gabel Dale, Helen(Jim)Tomberlin Daniel, two brothers, Erskine(Marie)Benjamin Tomberlin, Knapp Arthur "Tom" Tomberlin, 10 grand children, 9 great grand children.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 13, 2006 at 10:00 am in the First Baptist Church of Cantonment with the Rev John Smith and Larry Huff officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastern Gate Memorial Park, Pensacola, Escambia, FL.
Eastern Gate Funeral Home is in charge of services.
