Rhena was the daughter of Lewis J.& Maude Hiser Farnum.She was retired from the STATE OF Mich. Secretary of State DEPT. in Detroit.She was married 1st to Nicholas Jacob Van Ringelesteyn.He was in the Navy, WW 11, Quarter Master 3rd class,serving aboard the USS Barbell SS 316 that was bombed & sunk by the Japenses in the South China Sea on 4 Feb. 1944.( See his listing at this cemetery).She married 2nd Alvin Koenig, who died in Sept.1957. Married 3rd Raymond Gossel who died 5 Oct. 1975, just 20 days before her passing.He is buried in Saginaw Mich with his 1st wife Helen.Rhena is buried next to her father along with her sister Mary & brother in law Wm. Helsel. As of 1 June 2010, there is a V.A. issued VETERANS marker placed in front of her headstone " IN MEMORY " OF Nicholas, who's remains were never recovered.Though she remarried, family lore passed down says she never got over the loss of her beloved Nicky as she called him.SEE HER LISTING BY HER MARRIED NAME OF GOSSELL
