She married Duane Gale Dangler on 25 Feb 1978 in Lansing, Ingham, Michigan. They have two children: Jessica Lynn Dangler Tharia Karl and David Zachary "Zack".
Cathy was a hair sylist by profession- a trade she dearly loved but was forced to retire early from due to illness. She fought several different diseases and the most diligent fight was with cancer for the last 5yrs of her life. She loved being a grandmother and doted on all her "little ones". She had special names for each of them.
She was a born again Christian and the poem in her funeral booklet tells it all:
God saw you were getting tired
And a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around you
And whispered 'Come to me.!
A golden heart stopped
beating,
Hard working hands now rest.
God broke our hearts to prove
to us
He only takes the best.
Her husband, Duane Gale Dangler passed away on 07 Sep 2019. His memorial service will be Sep 28, 2019. His ashes will be with her. A separate Find A Grave will be added following his Memorial.
