OCEANA -- Mrs. Hattie Lea Perry, 93, died Wednesday at home after a long illness.
She is survived by 133 relatives.
Born May 3, 1891, in Oceana, she was a daughter of the late Oley L. and Elizabeth Bailey Walker.
Mrs. Perry was a housewife, a 14-year resident of Wyoming County and a charter member of Toneda Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Frank Perry; a son, Ernest F. Perry in 1973 and a daughter, Grathel Green in 1970.
Survivors include two daughters, Gay Price of Balk Knob and Bernice Perry of Oceana; 22 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren and 42 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Toneda Baptist Church with the Revs. Lloyd Lester and Ron Lee officiating. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery in Oceana.
Friends may call today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Evans and Evans Funeral Directors in Oceana and at the church one hour prior to services.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
