Vanetta Rose was born to Johnnie and Georgia Glass in Baskin, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Laverne Coleman.
Surviving are four children, Tangie Gail White and husband Jimmy of Newellton, LA. and their son Donald Wade Keene, of Rayville, LA. Garry L. Keene and wife Linda of Carthage, MO. and their daughter Mollie Leigh and sons Everett L. and Forrest W. of Carthage, MO. Joseph D. Keene and wife Loretta of Delhi, LA. Johnnie Wade Keene and wife Renee' of Houston, TX and their children Danielle and Joseph.
She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, sister Irma Gay Sawyer of Oak Ridge, LA, and brother Charles Glass and wife Ann of Houston, TX, brother-in-law James Coleman and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by a community of friends who enjoyed her company. Vanetta loved to play dice games and aggravation with her friends and always had a pot of coffee ready.
