R. Lee Bridgewater was the son of Jesse Dale Bridgewater and Daphne Bennett. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and employee of Southwestern Bell. He was also a member of Southside Masonic Lodge and a Charter member of the Fort Worth Chapter of Scottish Rite. He was married to Betty Mozelle Hawkins and resided in Burleson, Johnson Co., Texas.
Survived by wife; son, Ronnie Lee Bridgewater; daughters Connie Dee (Bridgewater) Burleson and Deborah Ann (Bridgewater) Reed; and grandchildren.
