Mrs. Smith was born in Florence, Ala., and had lived in Trumann for the past 30 years. She was a housewife and of the Pentecostal faith.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by two step-sons, one stepdaughter, one brother and her parents,Willie( Bill) Johnson and Carrie Green Johnson.
Survivors include her husband, James Odom of Trumann; one daughter, Nora Helen Durst of Pacific Beach, Wash.; one stepdaughter, Melinda Cullums of Hoxie; one brother, Denny Johnson of Marked Tree; four sisters, Juanita Little of Montgomery, Ala., Mary Smith of Trumann, Janice Borden and Nina Coats, both of Florence, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside service were held in Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg with the Rev. Jerry Dunning officiating.
Active pallbearers were; Keith Collins, Jerry Collins, Chris Thomas, Ricky Witt, Todd Glover and James Davis.
Honorary pallbearers were; Jerry Dunning, Charles Odom and Jimmy Snyder.
