Clifford Woodrow Hensley June 17, 1958 – May 22, 2010

Cliff Hensley, 51, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 22, 2010, surrounded by his family and friends.

Cliff was born June 17, 1958 in Lynwood, California to Lee and Joyce Hensley (Mullins). His family moved to Olathe, Colorado in 1967.

Cliff had served honorably in the U.S. Army. Cliff especially enjoyed fishing and being with his family and friends. Cliff is married to his wife, Stacey Hensley (Smith) who was by his side throughout his courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his parents, Lee and Joyce Hensley; his children, and their spouses, James and Kaylie Hensley; Woody Hensley; Annie and Jacob Newman; Frank Hensley and Paula Kennedy, and Christopher Mason; his sisters, Pamela and Lee Anne; his brothers, Noah, David, and Cheyenne; his grandchildren, Kali, Oakley, Rylie, Hayden and one on the way; and many loving nephews, nieces, and cousins.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at the VA Medical Center and Palliative Care of Western Colorado for their loving care to Cliff.

There will be a viewing on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at Olathe Assembly of God Church, 402 N. US 50. The service will follow at 10:00 a.m. also at the Olathe Assembly of God Church. A graveside service at the Olathe Cemetery will follow.

Contributions in memory of Cliff may be made to the Grand Junction VA Medical Center, the Palliative Care of Western Colorado, or in care of Joyce Hensley, 495 N. Coffman Lane, Olathe, CO 81425.
