Note: There was a question submitted to me regarding the date of death as there is a different date listed in the Social Security Death Index. What is listed on the SSDI is wrong. His correct date of death is October 5, 1972. That is the date on his death certificate and there is mention of his passing in the newspaper of his old home community where he grew up and lived for many years. Just as a note of interest the date of the newspaper is before the death date listed on the SSI. It is my guess that what is on the SSDI was a slip of the fingers.
