Felicitas H. Aleman, 81, of Lubbock, departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006 in Lubbock. She was born Nov. 20, 1924 in Taft, Texas to the late Alfonso and Petra (Saldana) Hernandez.

Felicitas married Martin Aleman Sept. 11, 1943 in Taft. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lubbock. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Aleman.

She is survived by her husband, Martin of Lubbock; six sons, J.J Aleman and wife Rosa of Lubbock, Chris Aleman and wife Sonia of Lubbock, Arnold Aleman and wife Martha of Lubbock, Martin Aleman Jr. and wife Tammy of Houston, and Johnny Manuel Aleman of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three daughters, Lupe Torres and husband Jim of Lubbock, Cecilia Aguirre and husband Danny of Lubbock, and Sara Gaitan of Las Vegas, Nevada; 24 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Pedro Hernandez of Taft, Texas, Ernest Hernandez of Lubbock, and Gumecindo Hernandez of Lubbock; three sisters, Louisa Deanda of Lubbock, Lupe Narvaiz of Lubbock and Andrea Arellano of Wilson, Texas.

Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church with Father Jim O'Connor and Father Michael O'Dwyer officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow, Texas. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 9, 2006 at White Memorial Chapel in Lubbock. Arrangements are under the personal care of White Funeral Home
