THE REPUBLICAN, HOMER, NY; THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 1892
Mr. Walter Burr of New York came here last Friday with the remains of his brother, Edward H. Burr, of Brooklyn, who died of pneumonia on election day after an illness of but eight days. Burial was made in Glenwood cemetery on the family lot. Dr. William Burr of Newark Valley was also here to accompany the remains to their last resting place. Mr. E. H. Burr has been employed in the New York post-office for the past 12 years. He formerly lived in Homer and was known to many Homer people who will regret to hear of his untimely death.
