Mrs. Mable E. Orton, 74, of Hunt, died Tuesday, April 5, at Livingston County Infirmary, Geneseo after a long illness. She was a life-long resident of the Hunt-Nunda area. She was formerly employed at Glen Iris Inn at the Letchworth State Park.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gretchen (Robert) Stonebrook of Buffalo, and Miss Barbara Orton of Rochester; three sons, Lyle and Vernon of Nunda, and Richard of Dalton; one brother, Fred Holly of Hunt; two sisters, Mrs. Florence (Elmer) Zeliff of Warsaw; and Mrs. Marian Tapp of Nunda; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
The funeral was at the Duryea Funeral Home and burial in Hunt's Hollow Cemetery were at the convenience of the family.
