James Michael Ladd, age 47, passed away Friday, May 21 at his home in Lansing. Jim was a 1981 graduate of Waverly High School where he excelled as a member of the boys Varsity Swim Team. He worked at Delphi Glass Company for 28 years in sales and customer service.
He is survived by his parents Robert & Joanne Ladd; sister Terri (Mike) Michaelson of Lansing; niece Melanie Spicer Wyman; nephew Alex Spicer, and three great-nephews. Jim loved his family and treasured his good friends who were always there for him. He will be especially missed by his best friend, his dog Sparky. Jim loved water skiing and snowmobiling at Houghton Lake in his younger years and later just enjoyed being with his family and friends at the lake.
