Son of John Albert Read. Owned and operated Read's Grocery in Newport, Lincoln, Oregon until 1955. Oral and Elaine raised 3 sons, Neil, John and Jerry. All the family except Neil removed to La Mesa, California because of my Dad's health. The concept was to move to where it was warm. Dad passed on not long after moving.
