Mark Whitlock, 26, passed away at his home after a long courageous battle with brain cancer.

Mark was born in New Haven, CT, the son of Jonathan and Leslie (Moquet) Whitlock of Cheshire, CT. He was a 2001 Cheshire High School graduate and had graduated from Muhlenberg College with a bachelor's in political science and economics. He was attending the Cardozo School of Law in New York City. Mark had worked for two years for Fragomen, DelRay, Bernsen and Loewy Law Firm in New Jersey, as a paralegal. Mark loved to watch and play many sports. He was known as a huge New York sports fan supporting his Yankees, Giants and Rangers. He enjoyed playing competitive lacrosse and hockey and was an avid skier and golfer, as well as loving live music and being with his family.

Besides his parents Jon and Leslie, Mark is survived by his sister, Sarah, of New York City, NY; his maternal grandparents, Atty. Albert R. and Elinor Moquet, of Orange, CT; his aunts and uncles, Doug and Linda Moquet, of Orange, Robert and Gail Specht, of Florida, and Timothy and Patricia Whitlock, of Orange; five cousins, Douglas Moquet, Jr., Laura Patchkofsky, Holly Specht, Jeffrey Whitlock and Christine Whitlock. Mark is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John F. and Caroline S. Whitlock.

Funeral Services were held at the First Congregational Church of Cheshire, 111 Church Drive, Cheshire, CT.
