EVA MAE (WHITEWATER) REVELS.

Eva Mae (Whitewater) Revels, 77, of La Crosse died Monday July 2, 2001, at her home with family and loved ones around her. She was born December 4, 1923 to Jess and Jessie (Hanson) Whitewater. She married Frank Dikeman in 1939 and he lost his life in WW II. She then married Albert Hellerud in 1945 and he passed away in 1957. She is married to Claire L. Revels. She is survived by her husband, Claire L. Revels; six daughters, Linda (Ted) Revels, Diana Hellerud, Margaret Klonecki, Patricia (Roger) Swartling, Brenda (Steve) Freehill, all of La Crosse; Peggy (Wayne) Friske of Elroy; four sons, Frank (Darline) Dikeman, James (Margie) Hellerud, Mark (Sharon) Hellerud, Claire L. Revels Jr., all of La Crosse; four brothers, James (Marion) Whitewater of Holmen, WI, Jess (Gloria) Whitewater and Gene (Kathy) Whitewater, both of La Crosse, Don (Judy) Whitewater of Onalaska, WI; two sisters; Evelyn (Don) Sheppard of Melrose, Donna (Elmer) Hanson of Holmen. She is preceded in death by her husbands; parents; two sons, Larry Dikeman and Bobby Revels; one sister, Bernieda J. Pettergrove; one brother, Ray Whitewater; one granddaughter; two grandsons; and one great grandson. A special thanks to Franciscan Skemp Hospice especially Judy Fox, Dr. Novotny and Roth Kapankee. The family appreciates everything done for Eva and her family. She's loved and will be missed by all of her family. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 6, 2001, at 10 a.m. at Olivet Lutheran Church. The Rev. David Baldukas will officiate and burial will be in the French Island Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Olivet Lutheran Church on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and again Friday from 9 a.m. until time of service. The Woodruff Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
