DELPHOS — Clara Louise Ackerman, 85, Delphos, died Wednesday, April 3, 1996, at Ottawa County Hospital, Minneapolis.
Mrs. Ackerman was born Clara Louise Meyer on May 6, 1910, at Miltonvale and was a lifelong resident of Cloud County. She was a farm wife, a member of the former Meredith Catholic Church, rural Delphos and Miltonvale Senior Citizens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John R., in 1967; a son, John J. in 1985; and a daughter, Janie Ketterer in 1993.
Survivors include two sisters, Theresa McKain of Minneapolis and Stella Morrissette of Baton Rouge, La.; five grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Miltonvale, the Rev. Loren Werth officiating. Burial will be in Meredith St. Peter Cemetery.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at Phelps Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at the funeral home, 217 W. First, Miltonvale 67466.
