Melva "June" Evans Crabtree, 82, of South Charleston went home to be with the Lord on May 14, 2010.
She was born January 18, 1928, to the late Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Evans of South Charleston. She was a member of Rock Lake Presbyterian Church, and member/past Noble Grand of Rebekah Lodge 287. She was a graduate of South Charleston High School, was a homemaker, and retired from Vogue Cleaners.

She was also preceded in death by her oldest son, Buster; and infant daughter, Carolyn.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Millard J. "Buddy" Crabtree; daughters, Elaine Crabtree of South Charleston and Tamaria Crabtree of Cocoa, Fla.; sons, Raymond Crabtree of Cross Lanes and James Crabtree and wife Susan of Daytona, Fla.; grandchildren, Carolyn Bird and husband Roger of St. Albans, Stephen Crabtree and wife Nina of South Daytona, Fla., and Justin Crabtree of Atlanta, Ga.; and great-grandchildren, Zac Bird and Mackenzie Testaverde. She is also survived by her brother, Freddie J. Evans of Virginia.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Richard McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
