Mr. Conner was born Sept.6,1892, in Carroll Co., Iowa. He lived in Kansas for a while and moved to Neosho area in 1935. He was a veteran of World Was I and a member of the Hilldale Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elva Conner, two sons Orvie, Neosho, and Basil of the home, two daughters, Mrs. Emma M.Standefer, Rte 5, and Mrs. Velda L. Studdard, Rte.4; a sister, Mrs.Ina Lackey, Augsta, Kan.; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Hilldale Baptist Church. The Rev. J.B. Kyger will officiate and burial will be in the Spring Valley Cemetery under direction of the Clark Funeral Home.
