William Robert Williamson Sr., a retired electrician in the shipbuilding industry, died Saturday at his home. He was 85. A native of Grove Hill and a longtime resident of Mobile, he was a member of a Masonic lodge in Tuscaloosa. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Hazel P. Williamson, and a daughter, Bonnie Jo Williamson, both of Mobile; two sons, William R. Williamson Jr. of Satsuma and P.R. Williamson of Lawrenceville, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Serenity Funeral Home, where the service is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
