Survivors includes his parents, Lisa Day Alvarez and John Alvarez of Jacksonville; three brothers, John C. Alvarez, Mickey J. Alvarez and Michael Alvarez; four sisters, Victoria D. Gauvin and son Sebastien Gauvin, Alisha D. Alvarez, and Heather M. Alvarez and Natasha E. Alvarez, an uncle, Ronnie Day and wife Michelle; two aunts, Charlotte Stanley and husband Carson and Paula Barfield and husband Bryan; and a host of cousins.
