His name of WWI draft registration card is Arie not Ira.
He received is social security card in 1951 from the railroad board.
Survivors include four sons, Ira West of St. Marks, Lenard West of St. Petersburg, Larry Tillery of Meigs, Georgia and Bobby Tillery of Montgomery, Ala.; a stepson, Joe Brim of Woodville; three daughters, Louvenia Chanclor of Fort Gaines, Ga., Janie Gay of Bainbridge, Ga., and Linda Sue Sapp of Quitman, Ga.
Ira Thomas West was shot and killed during a home invasion robbery.
