Claude McCollum, 84, Marietta, died Thursday. Funeral services were held the chapel of Normal Medford Funeral Home. The Rev. Dahl Johnson officiated. Burial was at the Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. McCollum had spent his entire life in Cobb and was of the Baptist faith. He was employed by Marietta Concrete Co.

Survivors include daughters Mary Lou Meek of Acworth and Maudie Ratcliff of Powder Springs; son Nolan McCollum of Marietta; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister Lillian Allen of East Point; brothers Tom McCollum of Powder Springs and Robert McCollum of Marietta; and several nieces of nephews.
