She was born May 20, 1909 in Waukegan, the daughter of the late Herbert and Nellie (Brown) Ray.
She was a member and sang in the choir of Christ Episcopal Church and was also a member of the OES, both of Waukegan. Georgia taught piano lessons in her home in Waukegan for many years. Her special interests included flower gardening.
Survivors include a son, Steve (Doris) Drury of Gurnee; and a daughter, Lucille Drury of Waukegan; three grandchildren, Stephen J. Drury, Jeanine Drury and Georgine (Gregory) Erickson; and three great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Monday, February 5, 2001 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83), Antioch. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Antioch.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 11 AM until time of services.
