BENJAMIN LEISCH RITES WEDNESDAY
Benjamin F. Leisch of 213 N. Hamilton St., died Saturday night in Walker Memorial Hospital in Avon Park, Fla. He was a retired employee of Central Illinois Electric and Gas Company and was a veteran of World War One.
The body will be received here by Holland and Barry Funeral Home and friends may call there after 7 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday from the funeral home with L. H. Appel Officiating. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery south of Lincoln.
The deceased was born in Chicago Nov. 19, 1893, the son of Otto and Caroline Leiding Leisch. He married Winifred Everman and she survives as do two brothers, Phillip of Lincoln and Michael of Meridian, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Rink of Decatur and Mrs. Caroline Doty of Peoria. The decedent was a member of the First Christian Church, the Local Union of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and Logan Post of the American Legion.
Mr. and Mrs. Leisch had been spending the winter in Florida.
