William Friday, 76, of 1207 Ohio died Monday at 12.55 p.m. at his home.

He was born in Oshkosh, July 18. 1877, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin Friday. He married Miss Helen Buchok, June 29, 1908, at St. Vincent's Catholic Church in this city.

Mr. Friday was employed almost all his life as a painter by the Deltox Rug Company. He retired eight years ago.

Survivors are his wife, Helen; six daughters, Mrs. Carl Nebel, of Menasha, Mrs. Harry Roley, Mrs. Charles Reff, Mrs. Clarence Bus ha, Mrs. Albert Salzsieder, and Mrs. Anton Hopfinger, all of Oshkosh; 17 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at Poklasny Funeral Home. The Rev. John J. Murphy will officiate. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this afternoon and until the hour of services. The rosary will be prayed this evening at 7:30 o'clock at the funeral home.
