Elizabeth Jane 'Eliza' Phillips. Eliza was first married to John Samuel Coatney and then married to Alfred James Wells. She was born with the last name of Phillips. Eliza was the mother of four children with Mr. Coatney and mothered five children with Mr. Wells. Buried in Steele City Cemetery in Steele City, Jefferson County, Nebraska. This photo had been in my possession for many years.

Elizabeth "Eliza" Jane Phillips .. There are several copies of this headstone pic and another version Taken by 2 diff people at the same time @ the same place. They were on a trip to Neb & KS together. I was given permission to post said photo shortly after it was taken plus have acutal hard copies of the photos that both people made & mailed me . Both people knew pic was posted at that time
