Edward J. Angst, age 80 of Seven Mile passed away at his residence on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 2:00 PM. He was born in Butler County on September 22, 1929 the son of Clarence and Dorathea (Cooper) Angst. Edward was a 1947 graduate of Seven Mile High School and a 1951 graduate of Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. Edward was employed as a surveyor for ODOT for 38 years, retiring in 1994. He coached in the Shiloh Knothole League for 30 years, was a life member of Isaac Walton Seven Mile Chapter and VFW #7670, a Loyal Member of the Cooties, and a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, and was an avid Ohio State fan. On November 18, 1977 in Cincinnati he married Sondra Devine.

He is survived by his wife, Sondra Angst of Seven Mile; three stepchildren, Tina Barker of Hamilton, Tony Barker of Fairfield Township, and Ryan Barker of Hamilton; a grandson, Blake Mulder of Hamilton; four brothers, Robert (Julia) Angst, Richard (Shirley) Angst, Lawrence Angst, and Raymond (Jane) Angst, all of Seven Mile; a sister, Helen Angst of Seven Mile; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Alma Angst.

Visitation at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Name Catholic Church, 222 Hamilton Avenue, Trenton. Burial in Butler County Memorial Park.
