Linda Gail Griffin, 47, died April 19 in the explosion of the Alfred Murrah Federal Building. Linda was born August 10, 1947 in Ada, Oklahoma, the daughter of O. Burl and Minnie June (Brady) Griffin. She was a 1965 graduate of McLish High School. She attended the Draughns School of Business. She worked for the FAA and the ATF. She was currently working as the Office Manager for the Secret Service. She was a recipient of many awards for her professional work while employed with the Secret Service. She was a beauty consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. She married Danny Lee McKinney Dec. 21, 1991. She was preceded in death by her father, Burl Griffin. Linda leaves behind many close friends coast to coast. She will be loved and missed by all of her family and friends. Surviors include her husband, Dan; son, Jason Smith of Harrah, OK; step-daughter Amy Stiers and her husband Ken of Tuttle; mother, Mrs. Burl (June) Griffin of Fittstown, OK; sisters, Rita Webb and her husband Dallas of Cashion, OK, Sherry Richardson and her husband Terry of Ada, OK; brothers, Eldon Griffin and his wife Sherrill of Henryetta, OK, Bob Griffin and Randy Griffin of Fittstown, OK; grandchildren Sarah and Samantha Stiers. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 3, 1995, 1:00 p.m. in the Southern Hills Baptist Church, 8900 S. Pennsylvania, with interment in the Rosedale Cemetery in Ada, OK.
