Rachel was on her way to college at Rt.422 and interstate 79 when a truck, coming from the other direction hit her car. She was not speeding, but the truck was traveling at 55mph. Rachel had to be life flighted to Presbyterian Hospital. Her injuries were many, she had broken both arms, both legs, six ribs, and her neck and lapsed into a coma from brain shear. They were unable to operate on any injuries immediately due to her critical condition. She was a fighter, she fought for over 30 days before the Lord called her home.
