Mitchell Vandal Barbeau,[son of John Barbeau/Edmire Roberts] married Lillian Anna (Dennis) Dupont (1880-1925), (his second marriage), on Feb. 12, 1923 in Springfield, Hampden Co., MA.
Occupation:Retired/Mason Contractor
Residence:252 Stoney Hill Rd. Wilbraham, Hampden Co., MA.
Byron Funeral Home, State St. Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. in charge.

Note;
My grandfather was a sweet gentle man. I remember visiting him with my parents at the nursing home. He cried and wanted to go home. They lost his false teeth. His son Henry lived in Lowell, MA and couldn't go to him often. When he did go and took him in the car for a ride, Mitch tried to jump out.
His house was auctioned off for back taxes to a Mr. Roberts. He left his furniture to my mother, his step daughter. There was no money. I remember him in his suspenders and hat going through his strawberry bushes and garden. Lots of memories as a child. I'll never forget him.

Mitch died in The Brimfield Nursing Home, Brimfield, MA.
Cause of death: Arteriosclerotic Heart Disease, Cerebral Hemorrage.
Burial:Aug. 4, 1958 in Maplewood Cemetery, Parker St. Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. with his 2nd and 3rd wives.
