He and his family lived in Troy, New York. He retired in 1977, after more than 25 years of service with the State Of New York, Highway Department.
Patrick died suddenly on 1 Feb 1978 and was buried in St Mary's Cemetery, Troy, New York.
In addition to his wife of 43 years, he is survived by his children, Patrick and Henrietta and two grandchildren.
