Minnie C. Alexander

Mass of the Resurrection for Mrs. Minnie C. Alexander, 84, will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. The Rev. Ernest Floreen is the celebrant.

Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Bustard Funeral Home.

Mrs. Alexander died Thursday at Natrona County Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

She was born July 4, 1895 at Los Angeles, Calif., where she was reared and educated. She attended teachers college and taught school in both California and Arizona before coming to Wyoming.

In June 1925, she married C. C. Alexander at Lingle and the couple made their home at Pampa, Texas, where he was an oil lease broker. He died in 1932 and Mrs. Alexander came to Casper the same year. In 1939, she resumed teaching. She taught at Mills, Grant and Garfield schools, retiring i 1961.

She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Elizabeth) Steinle, Casper; two brothers, Louis A. Whipple, La Canada, Calif.; Elmer E. Whipple, Concord, Calif.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to St. Joseph's Children's Home.

Burial will be at Natrona Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with Bustard Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
