Funeral services for Mitchell B. Harris, 84, Red Oak, retired farmer amd lifetime Montgomery county resident, will be held Wednesday, July 24, at 2 p.m. at the Nelson Chapel here. He died at the Lester Haas home here after an extended innness.
The Rev. William Fry will officate and burial will be in Salem cemetery.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Emer Harris, he was born in this county May 26, 1879, and was married to Clara Peterson, who survives. Also surviving are a son Carleton B., Kings Mountain, N.C.: two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mr. Harris was a member of the First Methodist Church and Red Oak lodge No. 162, AF&AM
