Funeral for Fernando Cortez
Acklin, 28, of Decatur will be today
at noon at Shiloh Missionary Baptist
Church with the Rev. Charles B.
Huggins officiating and Reynolds
Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Sterrs Cemetery.
The body will be at the church one
hour before the service.

Mr. Acklin died Tuesday, Aug. 15,
1995,at Decatur General Hospital.
He was born July 21, 1967,in Morgan
County. He was a member of
Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church
and employed with Battles Construction Co.

Survivors include two daughters,
Xzavia B. Acklin and Lexus N. Acklin,
both of Decatur; his father,,
Willie Frank Acklin Sr. of Decatur;
his mother, Dollean Acklin of Decatur;
two brothers, Carl Stevenson
and Rudolph Acklin, both of Decatur;
five sisters, Rhonda Acklin of
Ft. Lauderdale, Fla, Ijestia Darby of
Huntsville, Roxanne Acklin and
Litora Morris, both of Decatur, and
Sherron Guster of South Carolina;
and his grandfather, the Rev. C.P.
White of Terre Haute, Ind.

Pallbearers will be Reggie Battles,
Roderick Cook, DerrickMiilone,
Terry Ellison, RoderickbPetty,
Rayfer Jones and Stanley Thompson.
