Kevin Jennings Collins, son of Jerry William and Diana Maye Wessels Collins; husband of Kimberly Ann Keeney and father of Shawn Matthew and Dakotah William Collins, was born 30 Dec 1962 and passed away at the Cedar Valley Hospice in Waterloo, Iowa 7 Mar 2010. Kevin was a graduate of Oelwein High School, and entered the US Navy in 1982, served his duty beginning in San Diego, Calif. then was stationed at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina. His duties sent him to Spain, Turkey, Monaco, Italy, Egypt, Japan, and Norfolk, Virginia; many countries on the coast of Africa and South America with Unitas Good Will Tours. He retired in Feb 2004 at Camp LeJeune, NC as a Chief Petty Officer, HMS.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter, his father, three sisters, and his paternal grandmother, Ollie Collins. He was preceded in death by his mother, paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents.
Kevin was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
