Master Sergeant Bost was a Light Weapons Assault Infantryman assigned to Company K, 3rd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on 28 November 1950 (the Battle of the Ch'ongch'on River). He was presumed dead on 31 December 1953.
