Melloyne Dee Ferrell, 52, of Greenville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 22, 2008. She was born November 17, 1955 in Flint, the daughter of Thomas and Ruby (Ford) Ferrell. She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Staffen of Greenville and Jessica (Timothy) Miller of Fenwick; her grandchildren, Adrien Tisdel, Caitlin Rose Miller, and Ethan Miller; her best friends, Dini Rittenger and Dave Arnold; and many other friends that were like family to Melloyne. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at the home she shared with her daughter (321 W. Judd St., Greenville), with Rev. Connie Shatz officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor may be given to a local animal shelter.
