In 1901 she was united in marriage to James Edward Remster. To this union six children were born: Rolley, of Little Bear, WY; Earl, of Des Moines; Beulah, of Woodward; Raymond Q. of Ottumwa; and Lester, of Chariton. Her husband, James Edward and one son, Lawrence Myrl, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her two sisters: Mary E. Barritt, of Ottumwa; and Lutie Carr, of Quincy, IL; two brothers, Harry Goodwin and Alexander Goodwin, both of Ottumwa; four sons and one daughter, nine grandchildren: Harold E. Remster of Little Bear, WY; Richard, Marie, Shirley, Carolyn, and Beverly Remster of Des Moines; Betty Lou, Francis L. and James H. Pardoe of Woodward.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services in charge of the Rev. J. T. Bloom of Christian Church were held Tuesday at 2:00 pm at the Miley Funeral Chapel. Burial in the Chariton Cemetery."
