David was born in St Valentine, Monteregie, Quebec, Canada on 18 July 1855. He was the son of Hilaire Leblanc and Emelie Bourgeois who were married 17 Feb 1846 at St-Cyprien-de, Napierville, Quebec, Canada. He married Beatrice Loiselle on 9 Oct 1876 at Sainte Martine, Monteregie, Quebec, Canada.
He moved his family to Lake Linden, Houghton County, MI, USA about 1880. The family lived there until about 1896 when they moved to Cohoes, Albany County, NY. USA.
He worked as an engineer in the woolen mills of Cohoes at the time of his death.
He and Beatrice had 8 children that lived to adulthood, 6 daughters, Clara, Delia, Anna, Rose Emma, Beatrice and Florence and 2 sons Daniel and David AKA White.
David is my father's maternal Grandfather.

David LeBlanc died Saturday night at his residence, 76 Columbia Street, Cohoes. Mr. LeBLanc was born in Canada and had been a resident of Cohoes for the last twenty-three years. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church and the Union of Prayer connected with that congregation. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beatrice LeBlanc; two sons, David jr. and Dieudonne LeBlanc of Cohoes and six daughters, Mrs. Pierre Thuot of Montreal, Canada, and Mrs. Louis Fournier, Mrs. George LaVoie, Mrs. William Louprette, Mrs. Philip Gadoua, and Miss Florence LeBlanc of Cohoes.

Headstone is written in French. It is faded and difficult to read. His year of death is incorrect. He died in 1919 not 1920. Beatrice's maiden is misspelled it is Loiselle.
